Well, I figured since I hit the big 3-0 this year, I need to get off my ass and do some of the things I always wanted to do. So I decided to start this blog, which I will update from time to time, just simply listing some new things I’ve done this year. I can tell you now, they all will not be exciting–but I figure it will be nice to look back a year from now and say ‘hey, at least I did some new things last year’. 
So, if you’re curious, just check back. Mind you, this will be a list in proper Tasteful Tantrum fashion–no holds barred and a little TMI…
#1: Had a 30th birthday
#2: used a tampon for the first time—only because there was no other choice. Wont make a habit out of it though. I chose to include this because one of our family friends, who has a child in college, admitted she’d never used one either. so I was like “well, at least I’m not the only one”.
#3: drove (or will be driving) to the GA Coast/seashore by myself.
#4: conducted job interviews (nothing special, but it is new for me to be on the other end of the desk so to speak)
#5: Grilled on my new grill
#6: washed my car more than twice a year (so far)
#7: Dated in the midst of ‘doing me’
